Boko Haram and ISIS: What is the Real Deal Beheading Christians?

Here at Endtime Prophecy Watch, we initially did an article entitled, Isis: What is the Real Deal Beheading Christians?     Rev. Lawan Andimi and Bishop Dami Mamza, two Christian pastors in Nigeria,  beheaded by Boko Haram in less than a month.  Also, there were the beheadings of 10 Christian captives in Nigeria (December 2019) as retaliation for Baghdadi deaths by a US raid in Syria.  It is because of these beheadings that we have decided to re-release this article to hopefully shed some light on what is actually taking place, and for Christians to realize that this is a real spiritual war.  We must be engaged in intercessory prayer for all of our brothers and sisters in Christ around the world.  

The latest example of extreme persecution is being conducted by the militant extremist Muslim group ISIS in Iraq.  This group is currently beheading and butchering Iraqi Christians to death (source). Back in 2011 Islamic Extremists in Somalia beheaded a 17-year-old Christian boy vowing to rid Somalia of Christianity (source).  However, ISIS has taken it to another demonic level by its beheading and genocide of Christians. Why is ISIS so focused on beheading Christians? What spirit is driving them to cause such atrocities against Iraqi Christians?  Let's explore what drives Muslims with such hatred to behead both Jews and Christians.

Hatred and Beheading of  Jews 

Daniel Pearl Jewish-America Journalist Brutally Beheaded

In the year 627 A.D. the Prophet of Islam, Muhammad, mass-slaughtered Jews. He and his army took over the Jewish village of Bani Qurayzah.  They dug several trenches and forced between 600 to 900 men to step inside where they were beheaded (source). Soon afterward Muhammad enslaved the women and children of Bani Qurayzah (here).   

Does anybody remember the Jewish-American Journalist Daniel Pearl? Pearl was abducted in Pakistan by the Muslim terrorist group Al Qaeda on January 23, 2002. On February 21st of the same year, a video was released entitled "The Slaughter of the Spy-Journalist, The Jew Daniel Pearl!"  Pearl was beheaded by these Muslim terrorists on video(source/source). There is a history of Muslims beheading Jews.

Muslims' Good Deed to  Kill and Behead Jews and Christians!  

In certain aspects of Radical Islam the killing of Americans, Christians, and Jews are seen as being a good deed to Allah.  Let's look a little closer at this mindset; a mindset that may very well be the motivating factor of the ISIS beheadings.

Former Al Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden stated the following on February 11, 2003:

"You should know that seeking to kill Americans and Jews everywhere in the world is one of the greatest duties[for Muslims], and the good deed most preferred by Allah, the Exalted(source)."

 Suicide bombers, for example, don't view human life as valuable.  However, they are willing to kill infidels, Christians, and Jews because they believe it's a good deed to Allah (source).

In the Yoel Natan book called "Moon-o-theism Volume 1," Page 85 states:

"An entry in a popular collection of traditions called the Mishkat Al Masabih has Muhammad saying that Muslims would skip purgatory and gain immediate entrance into heaven if they only killed a Jew or Christians."

"When judgment day arrives, Allah will give every Muslim a Jew or Christian to kill so that the Muslim will not enter hellfire."

"Christian covert in Zanzibar told the reporter: The Muslims are teaching people to hate Christians, that if they behead a Christian you will go to heaven(source)."

Muslims kill in the name of Allah and Islam because they really believe they're offering a service unto God.

A Wonderful Message for the World: 3 girls who escaped from Boko Haram's mass abduction

Protesters march in support of the girls kidnapped by members of Boko Haram in front of the Nigerian Embassy in Washington May 6, 2014.Three girls who escaped a mass abduction by Boko Haram one year ago today have a powerful message to share — the jihadists won't stop us from learning and living. 

Al Jazeera spoke with the girls, who were abducted along with more than 200 of their classmates before jumping off of the trucks of their kidnappers.

The three girls are now attending college at the University of Nigeria in Yola.

When asked if they want to go back to their hometown of Chibok, all three girls say yes.

"I want some changes in Chibok, like the environment," a girl called Blessing said. "I want to be a lawyer. I want to fight for justice. "

Another, Mary, says she wants to " become a medical doctor. To go to Chibok and build clinics and hospitals because we don't have educated doctors there. I will try hard."

The third, Deborah had a profound message: "It was said that if you educate a girl you educate the whole nation. It is very important. They haven't stopped me. ... That's why I am going back when I graduate. The education there is very poor. So I want to help by building a school. I want to empower women by creating centres that will teach them things."

The military conflict in the region makes it difficult to search for the captured children, and there are only rumors and brief sightings to go on.  The BBC reports that their classmates are likely being taught the Koran and married off to members of Boko Haram. 

Nevertheless, the ones who got away remain hopeful.

Deborah also sent a message to captive girls: "The message is be brave and courageous. Be a hard worker and always believe in God, that whatever you are going through, God is there for you, he will help you. Have ambition that you are great and you were made to be a great person."
