A Brief Synopsis What Mormons Believe

Mormons believe in millions of gods. Mormons long to become a a god. They don't long to spend eternity with Jesus Christ (source).

Biblical response: Isaiah 45:5-12. G-d said their is no other god, but Him.

They teach that man is a god in embryo, and may attain exaltation to godhood as the heavenly father has(source).

Biblical response: Psalm 51:5. Were born as sinners, not gods.

They believe in an eternal mother who engages in sex with the heavenly father to create human spirits. She is the wife of God (source).

Biblical response: Ezekieal 18:4. G-d is the Creator of all things, all the souls belong to Him.

Mormons believe Jesus was a polygamist who was married to Mary and Martha at the same time.  They also believe that God the Father is polygamist (source).

Biblical response: The Bible never states that Jesus was married to Mary and Martha. This is a gnostic doctrine. G-d the Father creates.  He does not procreate.

Mormonism holds the belief that Jesus and Lucifer are brothers.  Both are the elder brothers of heaven and were produced by God through a sexual union (source, source).

Biblical response: John 1:14 and John 3:16. Jesus is the only begotten son of the Father.

Mormons don't believe in virgin birth of Jesus Christ.  They believe Mary had sex with God the Father. They believed Mary was married both to God and Joseph (source).

Biblical response: Matthew 1:23 and Isaiah 7:14. Marry was a virgin that gave birth to Jesus.

They believe God was once a man of flesh and bones and that someday we can become a god over our own universe (source).

Biblical response: John 4:24. G-d is spirit, we must worship Him in spirit and in truth.

Mormons believe that some sins are so bad that the blood of Jesus can't atone for sins.  Instead, a person must shed their own blood for atonement (source).

Biblical response: Matthew 26:28. Only Jesus' blood was shed for remission of all sins and it marks a new covenant.

Besides

Baptism of the dead is another doctrine in Mormonism.  A Mormon can be baptized in place of their dead ancestors or friends so that these dead friends or family members can become Mormons (source).

Biblical response: Hebrews 9:27. Man is appointed once to die, then the judgment. The Bible doesn't speak about karma or purgatory.

Tensions Between Washington and Jerusalem Break Into Open View

  

It is no secret that the relationship between U.S. President Obama and Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu has been strained. The two men reportedly do not trust each other, and the tension between their differing objectives has only increased the divide. The most central issue is the one posed by Iran’s nuclear program. The recent NIE (National Intelligence Estimate) report from Washington revealed that Iran is making much more rapid progress in their nuclear work than had previously been thought.

Each side faces a critical upcoming event. For Washington, that event is the November election. An outbreak of war in the Middle East would have serious economic impact on the entire world, and that in turn could greatly influence the outcome of the vote, and they are striving to prevent war prior to the election. For Jerusalem, that event is when Iran reaches the “zone of immunity”—the point at which conventional military action will not be able to prevent them from completing their nuclear work.

The latest reports are that Iran has now placed at least 5,000 centrifuges in the underground nuclear facility at Fordow. This site, constructed deep inside a mountain near the Iranian holy city of Qom, would be difficult if not impossible to destroy with anything short of a tactical nuclear attack or a ground invasion.

While both sides agree that a nuclear Iran is not acceptable, their assessment of the time remaining to solve the problem is very different. Israel’s Ambassador to the U.S., Michael Oren, said Israel’s clock is “ticking faster” than the one in America. It remains unclear whether Israel will take action before November, and if so, to what extent America will support them.

It is crucial that we continue to pray for the peace of Jerusalem, and I encourage you today to do so from a position of faith. We do not know the future, but God does, and He is in control of everything that happens on the world stage.

With the nation of  Iran, they had close ties with Nazi Germany before and during World War II.  Iran was allied with Nazi Germany and was a supplier of oil to Nazi forces in Austria and Czechoslovakia.  During this period in Tehran it was common to see placards in the market­place that declared, “In heaven Allah is your master, and on Earth it is Adolf Hitler (source, source).” Tehran was used as a Nazi base in the Middle East during World War II. Nazi-Germany had a strong base of Arab-Muslims throughout the Middle East including the Palestinian Lib­eration Organization whose famous leader was Yasser Arafat, and Ba’ath Party the political party of the former Iraqi President Sad­dam Hussein.  Also the Muslim Brotherhood had connection with Hitler run Nazi-Germany. Interesting now Egypt's President Morsi arose out of the Muslim Brotherhood. How will this impact Israel with Egypt's president being from the Muslim Brotherhood? Does this threaten the Israeli border between Israel and Egypt? How does relate to Bible Prophecy?

Who Is the Muslim Brotherhood?

The Muslim Brotherhood was founded in Ismailia, Egypt by Hassan al-Banna in March of 1928. 

The Brotherhood's founder, al-Banna, was a devout admirer of Adolf Hitler and the Nazi regime. During the 1930s, the Brotherhood became more political in nature and an officially political group in 1939. Over the years, the organization developed an apparatus through which to provide military training to its followers and to engage in political terrorism against Egyptian Coptic Christians and government officials.

In 1942, during World War II, Hassan al-Banna set up more Brotherhood branches in Transjordan and Palestine. The headquarters of the Syrian branch moved to Damascus in 1944. After World War II, Egyptian members took violent action against King Farouk’s government. When the organization was banned in Egypt, hundreds moved to Transjordan. Many also participated in the Arab-Israeli War of 1948-1949.

The Egyptian Muslim Brotherhood initially supported Gamal Abd an-Nasser's secular government and cooperated with it, but resisted left-wing influences. A Muslim Brother assassinated Egyptian Prime Minister Mahmud Fahmi Nokrashi on December 28, 1948. The Brotherhood was banned, and al-Banna himself was killed by government agents in Cairo in February 1949.

Muslim Brother Abdul Munim Abdul Rauf allegedly tried to kill Nasser on October 26, 1954. The Brotherhood was outlawed again and more than 4,000 of its members were imprisoned, including Sayyid Qutb, who later became the most influential intellectual of the group. He wrote influential books while in prison. More members moved to Jordan, Lebanon, Saudi Arabia, and Syria.

The organization opposed the alliance Egypt had with the USSR at the time, and opposed the communist influence in Egypt, to the extent that it was reportedly supported by the CIA during the 1960s.

Nasser legalized the Brotherhood again in 1964, and released all prisoners. After claiming more assassination attempts against him, he had leaders executed in 1966 and imprisoned most others again.

Nasser's successor in Egypt, Anwar Sadat, promised reforms, and that he would implement Shariah. However, Sadat's peace treaty with Israel in 1979 angered the Brotherhood, which led to his assassination in 1981.

In the 1950s, Jordanian members supported King Hussein of Jordan against political opposition and against Nasser's attempts to overthrow him. When the King banned political parties in Jordan in 1957, the Brotherhood was exempted.

The Syrian branch was the next to be banned when Syria joined Egypt in the United Arab Republic (UAR) in 1958. The Brotherhood went underground. When Syria left the UAR 1961, the Brotherhood won 10 seats in the next elections. However, the Ba’th coup in 1963 forced them underground once more, alongside all the other political groups.

The appointment of Hafez al-Assad, an Alawite Muslim, as the Syrian president in 1971 angered the Brotherhood even more because the majority of Muslims do not consider Alawites true Muslims at all. Assad initially tried to placate them, but made very little progress. Assad’s support of Maronites in the Lebanese Civil War made the Brotherhood re-declare its jihad. They began a campaign of strikes and terrorist actions. In 1979, they killed 83 Alawite cadets in the Aleppo artillery school. Assad’s attempts to calm them by changing officials and releasing political prisoners did not help. Eventually the army was used to restore order by force.

An assassination attempt against Assad on June 25, 1980, was the last straw. Assad made the Syrian parliament declare Brotherhood membership a capital offense and sent the army against them. In the operation, which lasted until February of 1982, the Syrian army practically wiped out the Brotherhood, killing an unknown but large number of people in the Hama Massacre. The Syrian branch disappeared, and the survivors fled to join Islamic organizations in other countries.

The Saudi Arabian branch convinced king Ibn Saud to let them start the Islamic University in Medina in 1961. After the Six-Day War in 1967, the movement as a whole split into moderates and radicals. The latter faction in Syria declared jihad against the Ba'th party leaders. King Hussein allowed the Jordanian branch to give military training to Brotherhood rebels in Jordan.

In 1973, the Israeli government allowed local leader Ahmad Yassin to run social, religious and welfare institutions among Palestinian Muslims. In 1983, he was arrested for illegal possession of firearms and sentenced to prison. When he was released 1985, he became more popular then ever. When the first Intifada began in 1987, he became one of the founders of Hamas.

In 1984, the Muslim Brotherhood was partially reaccepted in Egypt as a religious organization, but was placed under heavy scrutiny by security forces. It remains a source of friction.

In 1989, the Jordanian Brotherhood's political wing, the Islamic Action Front, won 23 out of 80 seats in Jordan's parliament. King Hussein tried to limit their influence by changing the election laws, but in the 1993 elections, they became the largest group in the parliament. They strongly opposed the Jordanian-Israeli Peace Treaty in 1994.

In the early days of the Soviet-Afghan war, the Muslim Brotherhood was seen as a constituent part of the Afghan anti-communist opposition.

The resistance movement in Afghanistan formed in opposition to the leftist policies of King Zahir Shah. The movement had connections to the Muslim Brotherhood.

The Russian government alleges that the Muslim Brotherhood is a key force in the ongoing Chechen revolt. Russian officials accused the Muslim Brotherhood of planning the December 27, 2002 suicide car bombing of the headquarters of the Russian-backed government in Grozny, Chechnya.

Though the Muslim Brotherhood is now viewed as a more moderate group than other Islamist organizations operation in the Middle East, such as al-Qaida, and has participated in free elections in countries where they were permitted to, messages delivered by the group's Supreme Guides have made clear the Brotherhood remains committed to militancy. In September 2010, Muhammad Badi’ gave a sermon in which he said, "... the improvement and change that the [Muslim] nation seeks can only be attained through jihad and sacrifice and by raising a jihadi generation that pursues death, just as the enemies pursue life."

In an effort to possibly hide their militant Islamit rules from the eyes of Western observers, the Brotherhood removed the organizational by-laws from their main English language website in mid-February 2011. The bylaws, which were still available to Arabic readers, have long been a source of discussion and debate because of the group's stated goal of establishing an Islamic state while uniting Muslims around the world. For example, section E of the bylaws states, "Need to work on establishing the Islamic State, which seeks to effectively implement the provisions of Islam and its teachings." Likewise, Section G reads as follows: "The sincere support for a global cooperation in accordance with the provisions of the Islamic Sharia ... and constructive participation towards building a new basis of human civilization as is ensured by the overall teachings of Islam(source)."

This video was taped and  e-mailed to me by Sharon, a Sidewalk Counselor at the Abortion Mill in the Inland Empire area of Southern California. I met Sharon and her daughter a year ago while standing in front of the Abortion Mill.  Out of curosity I parked my car to see what they were all about. They told me they represented a Pro-Life Ministry that reached out to women headed to this particular abortion for services.  She told me that the majority of the women who came there were either Black or Hispanic.  After observing for about an hour and half, I saw that yes indeed, the majority of the women were Black or Hispanic. Sharon told me it was difficult to get local churches involved in Pro-Life efforts...especially black churches.  She said that most just excuse abortion as a political problem, and not a spiritual one.

This video is a sign that people are destroyed for the lack of knowledge or the rejection of knowledge Hosea 4:6. To Pastors: could  this woman in the video be one of your members?  Do you know how many of your members have snuck to get an abortion? My question is simply this: where are the prophets in the black church crying out to repent? Maybe these so-called prophets are too busy holding money lines to pimp people out of their money instead of being on a mission for the kingdom of God to call for the end of this genocide of Black babies. Should the black community even be concerned? Let's examine the truth and the facts.

Avoiding lies can improve health

ORLANDO — Honesty may boost your health, suggests a study that found telling fewer lies benefits people physically and mentally.
Each week for 10 weeks, 110 people ages 18-71 took a lie detector test and completed health and relationship measures assessing the number of major and minor lies they told that week, says lead author Anita Kelly, a psychology professor at the University of Notre Dame in Indiana. She presented findings at the annual meeting of the American Psychological Association, which ended Sunday.
"When they went up in their lies, their health went down," Kelly says. "When their lies went down, their health improved."
Researchers instructed half the participants to "refrain from telling any lies for any reason to anyone." The other half got no such instructions.
The link between less lying and improved health was significantly stronger for participants in the no-lie group. When they told three fewer minor lies than in other weeks, for example, they had an average of four fewer mental-health complaints, such as feeling tense or melancholy, and three fewer physical complaints, such as sore throats or headaches.
Linda Stroh, a professor emeritus of organizational behavior at Loyola University in Chicago, says the findings are consistent with her research on trust. "When you find that you don't lie, you have less stress," she says. "Being very conflicted adds an inordinate amount of stress to your life."
Research has suggested Americans average 11 lies a week. Kelly says the no-lie group was down to one lie, on average, a week. For both groups, when participants lied less in a given week, they reported that their physical and mental health was significantly better that week.
"It's certainly a worthy goal to have people be more genuine and interact with others in a more honest way," says psychologist Robert Feldman of the University of Massachusetts-Amherst. "That would be ultimately beneficial. I'm a little skeptical that it makes us all healthier, but it may make us healthier in a psychological way."

When Comes to Lying and The Word of God

Proverbs 17:4 says, "A wicked doer giveth heed to false lips; and a liar giveth ear to a naughty tongue."

Proverbs 19:22 says, "The desire of a man is his kindness: and a poor man is better than a liar."

Proverbs 6:16-19 says, "These six things doth the Lord hate: yea, seven are an abomination unto him: A proud look, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood, An heart that deviseth wicked imaginations, feet that be swift in running to mischief, A false witness that speaketh lies, and he that soweth discord among brethren."

Leviticus 19:11-12 says, "Ye shall not steal, neither deal falsely, neither lie one to another.  And ye shall not swear by my name falsely, neither shalt thou profane the name of thy God: I am the Lord."

St. John 8:44 says, "Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it."  When you lie and don't repent, your just like your father the devil. The fruit that you bear by lying, shows your not a child of G-d, but of Satan because lying is a prime characteristic of him. 

Repent: Stop Lying and You Will Prosper

Psalm 24:4-5 says, "He who has clean hands and a pure heart, who does not lift up his soul to what is false and does not swear deceitfully. He will receive blessing from the LORD and righteousness from the God of his salvation."

3 John 1:2 says, "Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth." The Lord wants liers to stop lying, and repent so He can prosper them in the area of health by living a holy sanctified lifestyle. Lying impacts your health in a negative way, it gives Satan and his demons legal acccess inflict your body with diseases.

Matthew 3:8 says, " Bring forth therefore fruits meet for repentance." Genuine repentance will manifest righteous lifestyle from a person.

Proverbs 28:13 says, " He that covereth his sins shall not prosper: but whoso confesseth and forsaketh them shall have mercy." By telling one lie after another to cover your tracks, the end result you won't prosper in Jesus Christ.

Failure to Repent Liars Will Reap The Lake of Fire 



Revelation 21:8 says, "But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death."

To all liars you will reap the same inheritance of your father Satan the father of lies, which is eternal damnation in The Lake of Fire. Repent!

Virgin Mary Appears in Miracle Tree in New Jersey : Demonic or Not?

WEST NEW YORK, N.J. -- Hundreds of Catholic faithful and curious onlookers descended on a West New York street Thursday, eager to visit a tree that many are convinced bears an image of Our Lady of Guadalupe, the Virgin Mary as worshipped in Mexico.

The crowds gathered around the tree on Bergenline Avenue, leaving piles of flowers and praying as they touched the tree. "As soon as I got here, I felt this rush when I saw it, this rush from my body," said Barbara Questel of West New York. "It's such an amazing feeling."

 

Johanna Ramos was among the first to spot the image earlier in the week.

"It took me awhile, but when I realized the colors and shape of it, it was really noticeable," she said.

The crowds grew so large, police set up barricades to protect people waiting in line from traffic.

"It's excellent," said Bacher Archnir of West New York. "A lot of people come and believe."

Visitors to the tree lingered into the night. Barricades around the tree will remain, as police expect the number of visitors to grow.

Does this line up with scripture? Are people being deceived believing a lie? What does the scriptures say about this?

Syria Warns It May Use Chemical Weapons on ‘Foreign’ Forces

Syria has admitted it has chemical weapons and in what might have been a veiled threat against Israel, said it will use them if attacked.
The regime promised it would not engage in chemical warfare against rebels, who by all accounts except for that of the government are pushing President Bashar Assad out of power.
Syrian Foreign Ministry spokesman Jihad Makdissi “assured” the world that it has secured chemical weapons, which it previously has not admitted to be in its possession but never would be used "inside Syria."
"No chemical or biological weapons will ever be used, and I repeat, will never be used, during the crisis in Syria, no matter what the developments inside Syria," he said on state television. "All of these types of weapons are in storage and under security and the direct supervision of the Syrian armed forces and will never be used unless Syria is exposed to external aggression."
Israel is concerned that the chemical weapons will fall into the hands of Hizbullah, and Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu declared Sunday his government will “have to act” if Assad’s regime collapses, leaving Hizbullah with the possibility of taking over his military arsenal. Assad already is suspected of having smuggled some of the chemical weapons into Lebanon for Hizbullah to stockpile.
Prime Minister Netanyahu told Fox News Sunday said that “there are other possibilities” than crossing the Syrian border in order to deal with Assad’s chemical weapons.
Defense Minister Ehud Barak was ore blunt and stated on Israeli television last Friday, “I’ve ordered the Israeli military to prepare for a situation where we would have to weigh the possibility of carrying out an attack” against Syria’s arsenal, which is believed to include mustard gas and nerve agents that can reach Israel via Scud missiles.
Syria never signed the 1993 Chemical Weapons Convention.
Despite the Syrian Foreign Ministry’s vow not to use chemical weapons against the opposition, U.S. Senator John McCain does not trust the regime.
"These are helicopter gunships, tanks, artillery that are slaughtering people, and now there is a risk -- and I'm not saying it is going to happen -- a risk that in his desperation, Bashar al-Assad might use those chemical weapons," McCain said on CNN.
White House Press Secretary Jay Carney told reporters traveling with President Barack Obama on Air Force One, "We believe that Syria's chemical weapons remain under Syrian government control. But given the escalation in violence, and the regime's increasing attacks on its own people, we remain very concerned about these weapons."

Last Days Spiritual Famine and Spiritual Eating Disorders

Amos 8:11 says, ” Behold the days come, saith the Lord God, that I will send a famine in the land, not famine of bread, nor thirst for water, but hearing the words of the Lord.”
In these current days the American Church does not suffer from famine for water, bread or even “preaching”, but a famine of hearing the Word of the Lord. American Heritage Dictionary defines famine as, “a drastic and wide-reaching shortage of food. A drastic shortage; dearth.” The Hebrew word for famine is ra’ab(raw-awb) which means “hunger”, “dearth”, “famine”.
All across America people are going to church. And on the surface with mega-churches showing membership of 5,000-20,000 plus members, major church conferences generating revenue for conference registration, ministry product sales, special seed offerings for prophetic word or healing, super-star preachers and gospel recording stars, it all seems to have all the worldly success (Revelation 3:14-20). People are following the most popular preaching and teaching that the church world has to offer. However, people aren’t hearing the Word of the Lord. They are hearing things that cater to their carnality, and not the spiritual man. Preachers that give the Word of the Lord are supposed to reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine (2 Timothy 4:2). They are to do whatever is needed to be expressed by the Spirit of God if the congregation needs a message of correction, rebuked, or encouragement to build the saints up spiritually. But most church goers have itching ears; they don’t want sound doctrine that will bring repentance and maturity and impact the world with the gospel, while transforming them into the image of the Son of God Christ Jesus. The American Church are more consumers, in that they want to go to a church that fits their specific selfish wants and desires, versus being consumed with the passion and fire of God to advance the kingdom of God. They have no want to be a vessel that will follow heavenly assignment to have an impact in the earth like Jesus did.

Don’t be deceived into thinking that a large membership roster or the place where all secular celebrities claim membership make a great church. You know, the place that Christian celebrities go to sing and preach. However, if Jesus and His Word aren’t being celebrated, and you’re not seeing a visible change in the life of the people, and people do not turn from sin, then it is obvious that Church is quite possibly in major state of “spiritual famine.”
Let’s examine spiritual famine (starvation), and spiritual eating disorders of spiritual anorexia nervosa, spiritual bulimia nervosa, spiritual binge eating. This examination will see if somebody is getting a healthy spiritual diet, or is starving spiritually and has spiritual eating disorder that may cause spiritual death.

Spiritual Famine

Just because a person is going to a church does not mean he or she is properly eating spiritually. If the Word is not being preached and taught, and s/he is sitting under pseudo psychological preaching and teaching, or vain man made philosophical preaching or teaching, it is not Christ-centered. It is man-center. If it is man-center then spiritual famine reigns over that church, it is spiritually immature and unproductive, and influence by the flesh and satanic powers.

Characteristics of people who are in spiritually famine

1. They do not see the manifestation of the fruit of the Spirit reigning in their life (Galatians 5:22:23). Instead, there would be the manifestation of the works of the flesh (Galatians 5:19-21).
2. A spiritual famine person hates eating the “bread of life” which is the Word of God and consumed by serpents/demonic powers (Numbers 21:5-6).
3. They have an uncircumcised ear to hear the Lord (Jeremiah 6:10). You can’t have faith in God if you can’t hear Him (Romans10:17)!
4. They love lies instead of the truth (Jeremiah 5:31).
5. They are prideful. They walk in agreement with other people in the same famine condition (Amos 3:3).
6. Idols reign in their heart (Ezekiel 14:3). They are naked and blind and live in self-deception that they are spiritually minded (Revelation 3:17).

Spiritual Anorexia Nervosa

Anorexia nervosa is when person is below normal body weight, starve themselves, and have excessive weight loss.

A person that suffers from spiritual anorexia nervosa refuses to eat good spiritual food coming from the Word of God. They go through the motions of religion, and never come to eat of the Master’s body and drink of His blood (John 6:50-53). These people starve themselves from studying the Word, and applying the Word to daily life. Therefore, they suffer spiritually, not maintaining a “healthy spiritual weight” of knowledge and wisdom of God, zeal, ministry, living upright, witnessing, having love, joy, peace, patience, discipline, self-control (temperance), and active participant in the kingdom of God.

Spiritual Bulimia

Bulimia is eating disorder that is a cycle of eating large portions of food, and then causing self-induced vomiting of that food.

A person who has spiritual Bulimia sits under great preaching or teaching where truth is revealed by hearing the Word and refuses to apply that Word and/or repent. Because they intake the Word, and do not apply it or make necessary changes in their lives, these individuals “vomit out” life changing Word. If they had continued to walk in that Word they would have produced spiritual life. A person that returns back to foolishness, is like dog that returns back to its vomit (Proverbs 26:11, 2 Peter 2:21-22). Unfortunately they don’t maintain the Word which is good food, but vomit out the good food, only go back to eat the vomit of sin and mediocrity which equals spiritual starvation. The end result is spiritual death. The only thing that needs to be purged is sin. The Word gives us spiritual health.

Binge Eating Disorder

Binge Eating Disorder is compulsive over eating. These individuals typically hide food, eat rapidly, and stuff themselves until they’re sick.

An individual who suffers from a “spiritual binge eating disorder”, goes from conference to conference, reads a lot of Christian books, watches a bunch of Christian television, attends seminars where they take a lot of notes, have stuffed themselves with a lot of information. However, they do not utilize it to be blessing to kingdom of God. Instead they hide their talent (Matthew 25:25). They are so stuffed with information, they fail to use it to edify the spiritual body (Ephesians 4:12).

Conclusion

Spiritual famine and spiritual eating disorders can be avoided if an ear is given to hear what the Spirit has to say (Revelation 3:13). There is no need to run to and fro from every prophesy line to get a prophetic word from some false prophet who wants to profit off of you (unscriptural/Amos 8:12). You have more sure word of prophecy that is within the Holy scriptures (2 Peter 1:19-21)!

Let the Chief Shepherd Jesus and His under shepherds (Pastors) feed you, and you never have to go a day without being in a spiritual famine. Ezekiel 34:23,25 says, “And I will setup one shepherd over them, and he will feed them, even my servant David; he will feed them, and he will be their shepherd. And I will make with them a covenant of peace, and will cause the evil beast to cease out of the land: and they shall dwell safely in the wilderness, and sleep in the woods.” By being taught, and receiving the Word, the Lord will make a covenant of peace, that the evil beast (demons) will cease control of your marriage, family, children, health, finance, and your ministry. You will live in peace and joy in the Holy Ghost.

Days of Noah: Same-Sex Marriage End-Time Sign

Same-sex marriage is widely being accepted in societies all over the world. Just a couple of months ago President Barak Obama stated he believed it was okay for same-sex couples to marry.  Recently the nation of Denmark legalized a same-sex marriage bill in Parliament 85-24 making them the eighth European country to legalize it, and eleventh country overall (source). The bill in Denmark now makes it legal for the Lutheran Church of Denmark to perform same-sex marriage ceremonies.  In Great Britain, Prime Minister David Cameron and his political party are pushing to legalize same-sex marriage in the United Kingdom (here).

Jesus Christ Spoke About the Days of Noah 

I wrote an article about the days of Noah and same-sex marriage entitled, "Jesus, the Days of Noah, and Same-Sex Marriage"  in February 27, 2010 for the blog, "Gay Christian Movement Watch" (www.gcmwatch.com).  It was one of the first documented articles of its kind that dealt with how same-sex marriage is nothing new and was prevalent in the days of Noah.

Ironically, Jesus said in Luke 17:26-30, “And as it was in the days of Noe, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man. They did eat, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, and the flood came, and destroyed them all. Likewise also as it was in the days of Lot; they did eat, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they builded; But the same day that Lot went out of Sodom, it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all. Even thus shall it be in the day when Son of man is revealed.”

Jesus being a first century Rabbi, like most Jewish teachers, coupled Sodom with the flood generation as a typical image of evil.  His intent was to inform his audience that at His second coming the conditions of the world would mirror Noah’s days and the days of Sodom and Gomorrah.

Jewish Writings, Days of Noah and Same-Sex Marriage

The Midrash Rabbah Genesis is a specific form of rabbinic literature of ancient Judaism commentaries of the Hebrew Scriptures. It is based on the interpretation of the Torah (Old Testament). It speaks about the subject of same-sex marriage during the days of Noah.

The rabbis wrote in the Midrash Rabbah Genesis that the flood in Noah’s day was primarily triggered when males starting writing marriage deeds with other males, and between men and beasts (bestiality).  Based on the account of Midrash Rabbah Genesis, same-sex marriages took place during the days of Noah. There was nothing new under the sun and this is stated by Solomon in Ecclesiastes 1:9.  Lot, in Sodom and Gomorrah, is synonymous with the destruction of the flood generation in Midrash Rabbah Genesis.  It states that Lot pleaded all night for mercy for the Sodomites, and that the angels permitted him to plead for them.  But once the people said, “… bring them out [the angels] so we may have sex with them,” mercy ran out. The angels told Lot, “for now on you have no right to plead anymore.”  Judgment was sent upon Sodom.  Flood water was the judgment of God on the people in Noah’s day.  Fire and brimstone was the judgment against Sodom and Gomorrah.

The book of Enoch was written before the birth of Christ and although it is not an inspired book, it is a good resource.  Parts of it are quoted in Jude 14-15. 2nd Enoch 34-1, 3-4 states,

“God convicts the persons who are idol worshipers and sodomite fornicators, and for this reason he brings down the flood upon them. And all the world will be reduced to confusion by iniquities, wickedness and abominable fornications. That is, friend with friend in anus, every other kind of wicked uncleanness which is almost too disgusting to report, and the worship of the evil one. And that is why I shall bring down the flood onto the earth, and shall destroy everything, and the earth itself will collapse in great darkness.”

Second Enoch states that perverse homosexual relationships were the main cause of the flood.  Both Midrash Rabbah Genesis and the second book of Enoch state that God frowns on homosexuality in cultic prostitution, and in so-called “loving consensual” homosexual relationships. So don’t believe the liberal Christian theologians, gay-affirming churches and inclusionists. Homosexuality and same-sex marriage are an abomination in God’s eyesight.

In 2008 on the radio program Faith2Action host Janet Porter had guest Rabbi Aryeh Spero verified that the Babylonian Talmud, a book written 1000 years before Christ, states that men began to write marriage contracts to other men (homosexual marriage) in the days of Noah.  Rabbi Spero went on to say that G-d was compassionate. That He was patient, and  gave the people of that day a hundred and twenty years to repent.  Spero went on to say, “Even in ancient Greece they did not write marriage contracts between men. There was homosexuality, and it was wrong, but there was not an official ‘blessed’ policy. … Marriage is ‘sanctification’ (not simply a partnership).” He said to confer the title of sanctification and holiness upon this behavior is “probably one of the greatest sins of all that one does against God’s plan for this world (source).”

We are definitely in the last days that Jesus spoke about!  In the Book of Revelation, the Apostle John wrote that there would be an explosion of fornication during the Tribulation period.  There will come a time when the heart of men will become so hard that they will not repent and they will be given over to a reprobated mind.
